Flow Diagrams
Flow Diagram Section Overview

Once you have clicked on the Flow Diagram dropdown arrow from the Food Safety Plan sections menu, you will have the option to:
1. Add a new Flow Diagram
2. Access the previously created Flow Diagrams
Multiple Flow Diagrams can be added into the Food Safety Plan using the 'Add Flow Diagram' button. The Flow Diagrams will be placed in alphabetic order automatically by Safefood 360°.
Add a New Flow Diagram

1. Add Flow Diagram: Click the 'Add Flow Diagram' button to access the Diagram Drawing Tool to create your Flow Diagram.
2. Title: Click into the 'Title' open text field to give the Flow Diagram a name. A Flow Diagram will not be saved unless it has a Title, even if information is added to the Flow Diagram's main body. [Mandatory]
3. Description: Click into the 'Description' open text field to give the Flow Diagram a description.
4. Tools: Using the Diagram Drawing Tool options, create your Flow Diagram. See the Diagram Drawing Tool article for further information on the options available.
5. Save: Click the 'Save' button to save your new Flow Diagram.
6. Cancel: Click the 'Cancel' button to discard the new Flow Diagram and exit back to the Food Safety Plan module.
Verifying a Flow Diagram

1. Verified By: Only once a Flow Diagram has been saved in the Food Safety Plan, the 'Verified By' section will appear.
2. Users: The Users selected within the 'Assign Users to Approve' in the Study Details will be listed here. These Users must 'Verify' each Flow Diagram built within the Food Safety Plan.
3. Status: This is the verification status of the Flow Diagram. 'Awaiting' means that User still needs to verify the Flow Diagram. When a Flow Diagram has been verified, the 'Status' will change to 'Verified'.
4. Date Verified: This will show the date that a User has verified the Flow Diagram.
5. Verify: Only the Users that need to 'Verify' the Food Safety Plan will see the 'Verify' button, all other Users will not see the 'Verify' button. However, they will still see whether the Flow Diagram is 'Awaiting' verification or has been 'Verified' within the 'Status' and 'Date Verified' sections.

Note: Users required to verify Flow Diagrams will receive an action on their 'My Actions' tab within their Main Dashboard. By clicking this hyperlink, the User will be taken straight to the Flow Diagram they need to verify. The action will disappear once the Flow Diagram has been verified.
If there are multiple Flow Diagrams within the Food Safety Plan, the User will have an action for each Flow Diagram on their 'My Actions' tab.

1. Approval Status: Once a Flow Diagram has been verified by all of the Users noted in the 'Study Details User to Approve', the Flow Diagram will receive a green tick beside the name.
2. Status: The 'Status' will change to 'Verified'.
3. Date Verified: The 'Date Verified' will populate with the date that the Flow Diagram was approved by each User.
4. Verify: For those Users who need to 'Verify' the Flow Diagram, once the Flow Diagram has been verified by the User, they will see the 'Verify' button greyed out, meaning it no longer needs to be clicked. However, if any changes are made to a Flow Diagram, this button will be available again for the User to verify the new changes.
Editing an Existing Flow Diagram

1. Flow Diagram: Click on the name of the existing flow Diagram to access the Diagram Drawing Tool to view or make changes to your Flow Diagram.
2. Title: Click into the 'Title' open text field to change the Flow Diagram's name. [Mandatory]
3. Description: Click into the 'Description' open text field to change the Flow Diagram's description.
4. Tool: Using the Diagram Drawing Tool options, make changes to your Flow Diagram. See the Diagram Drawing Tool article for further information on the options available.
5. Save: Click the 'Save' button to save the changes made to the Flow Diagram. Clicking the 'Save' button for a Flow Diagram you have edited will prompt you to complete 'Reason for Change', details of which will be added to the Flow Diagram and overall Food Safety Plan 'Actions>Audit Log'.
6. Cancel: Click the 'Cancel' button if you wish to discard the changes made and exit back to the Food Safety Plan module.
7. Verify: If changes are made to a Flow Diagram, the Verified By 'Status' will change back to 'Awaiting' the 'Verify' button will need to be completed again by all Users noted as 'Study Details User to Approve'. These Users will receive an action on their 'My Actions' dashboard.
