Connected Records/Programmes
Ideagen Safe Food is a fully integrated application that allows various Modules to communicate with one another. This means that information can be quickly retrieved using the 'Connected Records/Programmes’.
Select the Entity
Select the required entity, e.g. an Employee, to access the main page for said entity. The entity will be seen in blue text, which indicates a link.

Accessing the Connected Records/Programmes
On the entity main page, you will find several panels that you can expand to view the Connected Records/Programmes.
1. Expand and collapse the panel by clicking the arrow.
2. Click the blue hyperlink (usually a number or name) to view the Record/Programmes.
Note: Clicking the blue hyperlink (usually a number or name) will open the Connected Record/Programme in the same browser tab. To avoid this opening in the same broswer tab, simply use the right click of your mouse and select ‘Open link in new tab’.
Note: Archived or Deleted Records/Programmes will not be displayed in the list. Records that were created from a Programmes which has been Archived or Deleted will still be displayed.

Note: Each of the Connected Records/Programmes panels will have different column headings.
For example:
- Records may show column headings of 'No', 'Date', 'Programme' and 'Status'
- Programmes may show column headings of 'Programme', 'Repeat', 'Last Actioned', Last Completed' and 'Next Due'
Entities Containing Connected Records/Programmes

Expand Connected Records/Programmes panels to view the following:
- Document Review: View any Document Review Records relating to this Document.
- Connections: View *Programmes where the Document is linked.
Note: *The Connections panel will show if the Document is selected within the following Programmes only:
- Auditing: Associated Procedures & Records>Procedures
- Management Review: Document Required>Procedure/Record
- Recall/Withdrawal: Procedures
- Business Process: Procedures
- Calibration: Procedure
- Maintenance: Procedures
- Pest Control: Procedures
