Read & Understood Frequently Asked Questions
A: No, if a Document has an Approval Workflow enabled, the Document must be Approved before the Read & Understood Workflow can be enabled.
A: Yes, as a User, the Read & Understood Workflow must be set up in every Document individually. We suggest you to use User Groups to simplify setting up and maintaining the Read & Understood Workflow.

A: Once the Read & Understood Workflow has been enabled for the first time, the Document can be entered again and allows the User to access the 'Reminder' box.
Tick the 'Reminder' box on for any of the Users or Users Groups that are still 'Pending' their Read & Understood action. Reminders cannot be sent to those Users or User Groups who have already completed their action.
Once the 'Reminder' box has been ticked, simply 'Save' the Document and provide the 'Reason for Change'. Once the Save is complete, the Reminder Email Notifications will be sent to all the Users and User Groups selected.
A: There are two ways to set up a new User in the Read & Understood Workflow:
1. Add the new User to an Existing User Group
When the User is added to an Existing User Group, the new User will be included in the Read & Understood Workflow for all Documents where the Existing User Group is already selected. This may result in multiple different Read & Understood actions for the new User.
2. Add the new User to an individual Document
Simply add the new User to the individual Document you wish to include them in the Read & Understood Workflow of. The new User will then be automatically assigned with an action to complete the Read & Understood Workflow for said Document.
A: Yes, the Read & Understood Workflow works the same for Users of the Supplier Portal.
The Supplier Portal Users will receive the same email notifications as Internal Users and can access their Read & Understood Workflow actions in the 'My Actions' tab on their Supplier Portal.
A: No. Users can only acknowledge the Read & Understood Workflow using the tick box.
