Document Approval Workflow: Notify of Change
If you have selected to enable an Approval Workflow for your Document with Approvers only or with Reviewers and Approver, this article will explain the responsibilities of the Users selected as Notify of Change for the Document.
When the Reviewers Accept, and/or the Approvers Approve the Document, the Users selected as Notify of Change for the Document will be notified that the Document has been updated and is ready for use.
Users selected as 'Notify of Change' will have no actions to complete. The Users are simply notified via an automatic System Email Notification that a new version of a Document has been uploaded to the system and is ready for them to use if necessary.
This automatic System Email Notification will be sent when a new version of a Document with:
- No Approval or Review required (Status - Approval Not Required).
- Approval has been completed (Status - Approved).
- Both Review and Approval have been completed (Status - Approved).
