Completing a Read & Understood Action
If you have been added to a Document's Read & Understood workflow, as a single User or as part of a User Group, you will be required to access the Document and complete the Read & Understood Action.
Below are the steps that must be carried out in order to complete a Read & Understood Action for a Document. Expand each step below for further explanation.
If you have been added to a Document's Read & Understood workflow you can access the Document to complete your action in different ways:
When a Document has been assigned a Read & Understood workflow, it will appear in the 'Actions' tab of the Documents module until all the Users and User Groups have completed their action. You can access the Document from the 'Actions' tab by clicking the 'Awaiting Read & Understand'.
Note: It is important to remember that the overall action for the Document in the 'Actions' tab might not refer to you as an individual User. Always check your own 'My Actions' tab to see what actions you have as an individual User.

Once you have accessed the Document, click on the 'Read Document' or Awaiting Read & Understand' buttons to read the Document and complete your action.
Note: If you are selected as an Individual User and part of a User Group, you will see your name mentioned multiple times, with multiple 'Awaiting Read & Understand' buttons. However, you only need to complete the action once.

Once you have clicked either of the buttons, you will see a Document Read & Understood pop up. This pop up allows you to read the Document and once ready, click the 'I have Read & Understood this document' box. When this box is ticked, the 'Submit' button will appear in blue, allowing you to complete your action.
