How to Raise a Microbiological Monitoring Test Record

Note: Microbiological Monitoring Testing Programmes must be set up first in the Microbiological Control module before a Microbiological Monitoring Testing Record can be created. Click here to access the article on setting up a Microbiological Monitoring Testing Programme.

A Microbiological Monitoring Testing Record can be added in three ways. Below are the steps that must be carried out in order to add a Microbiological Monitoring Testing Record. Expand each step below for further explanation.

Option 1: Using the 'Add Result>Monitoring Test' Button within the Microbiological Control Module

To manually add a Microbiological Monitoring Testing Record in the Microbiological Control module, navigate to the Microbiological Control module via 'PRP Control>Microbiological Control' and click the 'Add Result>Monitoring Test’ button.

A pop up will appear on screen prompting you to select the Microbiological Monitoring Testing Programme for which you wish to add the Microbiological Monitoring Testing Record. Using the dropdown, or typing into the box, source your preferred Microbiological Monitoring Testing Programme and click 'Create'.

Once created, the Microbiological Monitoring Testing Record will open on the Record workflow stage. However, the Record will not be placed into the 'Actions' tab until you have clicked either the 'Save' or 'Save and Submit' buttons.

Option 2: Using the 'Actions>Add Record' Buttons of a Specific Microbiological Monitoring Testing Programme

Expand or collapse content Step 1: Navigate to Microbiological Control via 'PRP Control>Microbiological Control', Access 'Plan' Tab and Click 'Actions>Add Record' Buttons

To manually add a Microbiological Monitoring Testing Record from a Microbiological Monitoring Testing Programme, navigate to the Microbiological Control module via 'PRP Control>Microbiological Control', access the 'Plan’ tab and locate the Microbiological Monitoring Testing Programme you wish to raise the Record from.

Once you have access the Microbiological Monitoring Testing Programme, by clicking on the Name, use the 'Action>Add Record' buttons to open a Microbiological Monitoring Testing Record.

Once created, the Microbiological Monitoring Testing Record will open on the Record workflow stage. However, the Record will not be placed into the 'Actions' tab until you have clicked either the 'Save' or 'Save and Submit' buttons.

Option 3: Using the 'Scheduler' within the Microbiological Monitoring Testing Programme

If the Scheduler has been set within the Microbiological Monitoring Testing Programme, Microbiological Monitoring Testing Records will be automatically generated by the system at the frequency detailed.

Microbiological Monitoring Testing Records generated via a Scheduler will be placed in the 'Actions' tab of the Microbiological Control module and opened in the Record workflow stage.
