Add a Receiving Record

Note: Receiving Programmes must be set up first in the Receiving module before a Receiving Record can be created. Click here to access the article on setting up a Receiving Programme.

A Receiving Record can be added in three ways. Below are the steps that must be carried out in order to add a Receiving Record. Expand each step below for further explanation.

Option 1: Using the 'Add Inspection' Button within the Receiving Module

Step 1: Navigate to Receiving via 'Monitoring>Receiving'. Click the 'Add Inspection' Button

To manually add a Receiving Record in the Receiving module, navigate to the Receiving module via 'Monitoring>Receiving' and click the 'Add Inspection’ button.

A pop up will appear on screen prompting you to select the Receiving Programme for which you wish to add the Receiving Record. Using the dropdown, or typing into the box, source your preferred Receiving Programme and click 'Create'.

Once created, the Receiving Record will open on the Receiving Record workflow stage. However, the Record will not be placed into the 'Actions' tab until you have clicked either the 'Save' or 'Save and Submit' buttons.

Step 2: Complete the Workflow Stages of the Receiving Record

Option 2: Using the 'Actions>Add Record' Buttons of a Specific Receiving Programme

Step 1: Navigate to Receiving via 'Monitoring>Receiving', Access 'Plan' Tab, Locate the Programme and Click 'Actions>Add Record' Buttons

To manually add a Receiving Record from a Receiving Programme, navigate to the Receiving module via 'Monitoring>Receiving', access the 'Plan’ tab and locate the Receiving Programme you wish to raise the Record from.

Once you have access the Receiving Programme, by clicking on the Name, use the 'Action>Add Record' buttons to open a Receiving Record.

Once created, the Receiving Record will open on the Receiving Record workflow stage. However, the Record will not be placed into the 'Actions' tab until you have clicked either the 'Save' or 'Save and Submit' buttons.

Step 2: Complete the Workflow Stages of the Receiving Record

Option 3: Using the 'Scheduler' within the Receiving Programme

Step 1: Set Up Scheduler within Receiving Programme

If the Scheduler has been set within the Receiving Programme, Receiving Records will be automatically generated by the system at the frequency detailed.

Receiving Records generated via a Scheduler will be placed in the 'Actions' tab of the Receiving module and opened in the Receiving Record workflow stage.
