Add a Monitoring Record

Note: Monitoring Programmes must be set up first in the Monitoring module before a Monitoring Record can be created. Click here to access the article on setting up a Monitoring Programme.

A Monitoring Record can be added in three ways. Below are the steps that must be carried out in order to add a Monitoring Record. Expand each step below for further explanation.

Option 1: Using the 'Add Record' Button within the Monitoring Module

To manually add a Monitoring Record in the Monitoring module, navigate to the Monitoring module via 'Monitoring>Monitoring' and click the 'Add Record’ button.

A pop up will appear on screen prompting you to select the Monitoring Programme for which you wish to add the Monitoring Record. Using the dropdown, or typing into the box, source your preferred Monitoring Programme and click 'Create'.

Once created, the Monitoring Record will open on the Monitoring Record workflow stage. However, the Record will not be placed into the 'Actions' tab until you have clicked either the 'Save' or 'Save and Submit' buttons.

Option 2: Using the 'Actions>Add Record' Buttons of a Specific Monitoring Programme

Expand or collapse content Step 1: Navigate to Monitoring via 'Monitoring>Monitoring', Access 'Plan' Tab, Locate the Monitoring Programme and Click 'Actions>Add Record' Buttons

To manually add a Monitoring Record from a Monitoring Programme, navigate to the Monitoring module via 'Monitoring>Monitoring', access the 'Plan’ tab and locate the Monitoring Programme you wish to raise the Record from.

Once you have access the Monitoring Programme, by clicking on the Name, use the 'Action>Add Record' buttons to open a Monitoring Record.

Once created, the Monitoring Record will open on the Monitoring Record workflow stage. However, the Record will not be placed into the 'Actions' tab until you have clicked either the 'Save' or 'Save and Submit' buttons.

Option 3: Using the 'Scheduler' within the Monitoring Programme

If the Scheduler has been set within the Monitoring Programme, Monitoring Records will be automatically generated by the system at the frequency detailed.

Monitoring Records generated via a Scheduler will be placed in the 'Actions' tab of the Monitoring module and opened in the Monitoring Record workflow stage.
