Add a Batching Record

Note: Batching Programmes must be set up first in the Batching module before a Batching Record can be created. Click here to access the article on setting up a Batching Programme.

A Batching Record can be added in two ways. Below are the steps that must be carried out in order to add a Batching Record. Expand each step below for further explanation.

Option 1: Using the 'Add Record' Button within the Batching Module

Step 1: Navigate to Batching via 'Monitoring>Batching'. Click the 'Add Record' Button

To manually add a Batching Record in the Batching module, navigate to the Batching module via 'Monitoring>Batching' and click the 'Add Record’ button.

A pop up will appear on screen prompting you to select the Batching Programme for which you wish to add the Batching Record. Using the dropdown, or typing into the box, source your preferred Batching Programme and click 'Create'.

Once created, the Batching Record will open on the Batch Record workflow stage. However, the Record will not be placed into the 'Actions' tab until you have clicked either the 'Save' or 'Save and Submit' buttons.

Step 2: Complete the Two Workflow Stages of the Batching Record

Option 2: Using the 'Actions>Add Record' Buttons of a Specific Batching Programme

Step 1: Navigate to Batching via 'Monitoring>Batching', Access 'Plan' Tab and Click 'Actions>Add Record' Buttons

To manually add a Batching Record from a Batching Programme, navigate to the Batching module via 'Monitoring>Batching', access the 'Plan’ tab and locate the Batching Programme you wish to raise the Record from.

Once you have access the Batching Programme, by clicking on the Name, use the 'Action>Add Record' buttons to open a Batching Record.

Once created, the Batching Record will open on the Batch Record workflow stage. However, the Record will not be placed into the 'Actions' tab until you have clicked either the 'Save' or 'Save and Submit' buttons.
