Add a Traceability Flow Diagram

Drawing Traceability Flow Diagrams

Traceability Flow Diagrams are used to provide a documented, structured view of the Traceability process that can be referenced during audits or inspections and to help with quick identification of affected batches and facilitate an efficient and effective response.

There are six configuration steps for a Traceability Flow Diagram.

Step 1 - Navigate to the Traceability Module
Step 2 - Click 'Add Flow Diagram'
Step 3 - Name the Flow Diagram and Click 'Save' to save the Record

Although it is not necessary to Save your Flow Diagram before you create the actual diagram, naming and saving your Flow Diagram right away will ensure that the Record itself will be created, and will also allow you to create the Flow Diagram in full page view.

When you click 'Save', the Flow Diagram is added to the 'Flow Diagram' tab in the Traceability Module.

If it is the first time that you will click 'Save', the diagram will be created and moved to the 'Flow Diagram' tab in the Traceability module.

If you have previously 'Saved' the flow diagram as per Step 3 outlined above, clicking 'Save' will prompt a 'Reason for Change' pop-up to appear. Enter a reason and click 'Confirm' to apply the changes to the Record.
