How to Add and Complete a Site Map

You may want to present an Auditor with a Site Map that shows all the Glass and Plastic Items in your facility. The Diagram Drawing Tool allows a User to create and customise their own Site Maps. The Site Maps are built using the 'Add Site Map' button within the Glass & Plastic Control module are not linked to any Glass & Plastic Control Programmes, they are stand alone.

Below are the steps that must be carried out in order to add and complete a Site Map. Expand each step below for further explanation.

Step 1: Navigate to Glass & Plastic Control via 'PRP Control>Glass & Plastic Control'. Click the 'Add Site Map' Button

To add a Site Map in Safefood 360°, navigate to the Glass & Plastic Control module using the 'PRP Control>Glass & Plastic Control' buttons and click the 'Add Site Map' button to open a blank Site Map.

Step 2: Complete the Sections of the Site Map

1. Name: Using the open text field, detail the 'Name' of the Site Map. [Mandatory Field]

2. Main Diagram Plane: Using the Diagram Tool, create the Site Map. See the article on the Diagram Drawing Tool for further details.

Step 3: Click the 'Save' Button

1. Save: Click the 'Save' button to save your Site Map. Your Site Map must have a name before it can be saved.

Note: It's very important to click the 'Save' button, otherwise the Site Map will not be added to your site.

2. Cancel: Click the 'Cancel' button to discard the Site Map and exit back to the Glass & Plastic Control module.
