Alert Status

There are two possible Alert Status options that can be used to build Alerts within Safefood360° - 'Stage Open' and 'Stage Closed'. Within this article you will find an explanation of the different Status types and different Alert scenario examples containing the different statuses that can be built within your Safefood360° Site.

1. Alert Status Explanation

The 'Status' allows you to further detail the Alert Criteria to ensure your Alert will only fire if the Record workflow stage has been 'Closed' or if the Record workflow stage remains 'Open'. The Status is a mandatory part of the Alert Criteria and must be completed before the Alert can be saved. The number of 'Days' allows you to note how long the Record should be 'Open' or 'Closed' before the Alert should fire.

Note: A Record workflow stage is classed as 'Open' when the 'Save' button has been clicked and the Record remains in that workflow stage.

A Record workflow stage is classed as 'Closed' when the 'Save & Submit' button has been clicked and the Record has moved on to the next workflow stage.

Warning: When completing Records, ensure you have allowed enough time between you click 'Save' or 'Save & Submit' in the different workflow stages to allow the Alert to trigger and fire within the system. The Alert will take a couple of minutes to fire, therefore, if you move forward within the Record too quickly and you have built Alerts to fire within different workflow stages, you may miss an Alert if you 'Save & Submit' stages too fast.
